Do you have it lah bodoh?

The urge to address everybody around you as Lah Bodoh. You do? Look. A man in his right mind would never want to be an idiot. Nor to be called as one, in either case; dia bodoh atau memang tak bodoh. Bodoh is an adjective that means lacking intelligence.

It's nothing like a faddish slang anymore, to me the behavior now seems more like an unconscious ritual. Cakap lah bodoh macam kau bernafas. Because it has become your second nature. And to have a nature like that, is unfortunate.

It would have been completely okay if each person you're calling bodoh willingly accepts your remark, and embeds it in their soul. Hence they become stupid, end of story. Smug.

The thing is nobody would want to. And every time you utter the B word out of your voice box, and through your lips out to the open space, but the expected recipient rejects the 'bodoh', at the end of the day who do you think will the bodoh return to? You. Sedikit sedikit lama lama jadi bukit, eventually you become stupid. Smug.
